Mission
The heart and mission behind the 1000 Generations journal is to build-up the next generation in Christ. Yes, this book has personal value to each writer, but the motivation for creating it and the overall mission is focused on impacting the next generation.
The goal is not only for the journal itself to have an impact but also to use the proceeds from book sales to further invest in our children.
Supporting Others
One hundred percent of profits from book sales will be donated to support Christian organizations who focus on children.
Profits from the first 500 books will be benefiting Still Water Camps.
About the Maker
My name is Sara Haddox. I’m a wife to Matthew and mom to Caleb and David. I could possibly have titled this section “About the Author” because I have, in fact, written a good bit in this journal but the truth is I’m not an author, I’m a maker. I like to build and renovate. I like to sew and cook. I like to make things and I’m not overly picky about what it is.
Now I’ll add a journal to the list of things I’ve made and I’m overjoyed to make something with eternal purpose. What an honor.
I accepted Christ as my savior when I was five and my walk with Him since then has mainly been slow. Becoming a mother and realizing it’s half my responsibility to teach my children has spurred on my relationship with the Lord.
I now serve as a Children’s Leader in Bible Study Fellowship. I’m also active in my church and in several Christian organizations in my community.
Because I haven’t been to seminary, I asked a pastor at my church to review my writing for theological accuracy and clarity.
